Point Ruston, Tacoma/Ruston, WA

Point Ruston is a beautiful 97-acre waterfront community with 1000 condos, apartments and townhomes and 228,000 sq. ft. of commercial/retail being built on the shoreline of the cities of Tacoma and Ruston.  McCament & Rogers worked on the project 2007-2014 assisting in land use approvals as a participant on the SEIS team and co-author of the Point Ruston Master Development Plan regulations adopted by the City of Ruston; spearheaded approval and implementation of a multi-jurisdictional Local Improvement District for road and utility improvements; tracked participation in Tacoma’s Local Employment & Apprenticeship Program (LEAP); worked on a program for public art; and, coordinated numerous special events.

Tehaleh, unincorporated Pierce County, WA

This 4,756 acre mixed use community was purchased by NASH Cascadia Verde, LLC in 2011 with day-to-day management by Newland Communities (now Brookfield Properties).  The approved project includes 9,700 residential units, 475 acres of employment, seven schools, and approximately 1800 acres of open space, parks and miles of trails.  McCament & Rogers has worked on numerous issues on behalf of the development including public and government relations, employment recruitment, development team activities, owner association documents, fire district mitigation discussions, etc.

The Vintage Y, 714 Market Street, Tacoma, WA

McCament & Rogers managed the sales and marketing program and provided consultation on fixtures and finishes when this former YMCA in downtown Tacoma was redeveloped and converted into 18 condominiums in 2005.

The Roberson, 708 Market Street, Tacoma, WA

Built in 2007, the Roberson is a mixed-use building that includes condominiums, multi-story live-work units, ground floor retail/commercial space and structured parking.  McCament & Rogers consulted on fixtures and finishes for the building during the planning stages, and directed the initial sales & marketing efforts with on-site sales personnel.

When the City of Puyallup decided to develop a mixed-use site in their downtown core with a new city hall as the center piece, McCament & Rogers was engaged to identify and recruit potential developers to respond to the City’s Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposal process, participate in the panel interviews, and review and comment on the city’s development agreement.

McCament & Rogers has assisted the City of Lakewood in numerous tasks including redevelopment efforts to bring private investment to a portion of Pacific Highway fronting Interstate 5, and, coordinating a workshop for over 200 attendees to learn how to do business with the Department of Defense at Joint Base Lewis McChord.  Tasks include the completion of a hotel feasibility study, working with the City’s economic development manager on business retention and expansion efforts, contacting private developers to encourage redevelopment of the area, and workshop coordination.

Mid-Town Lofts

Mid-Town Lofts is a mixed-use building with 50 high-end apartments and street level commercial spaces located in the heart of downtown Tacoma.  McCament and Rogers developed the marketing plan, recruited on-site rental staff, and designed and coordinated decorating of the model units.

Murphy’s Landing Marina, Gig Harbor

Beginning in 2004, McCament & Rogers has managed the owners association for 85 condominium moorage boat slips for the Murphy’s Landing Marina in Gig Harbor.  Responsibilities include staffing board meetings, maintaining accounting records, coordinating events and managing special projects.

Worked with developers on obtaining multi-family tax exemption approvals in the cities of Tacoma, Bremerton, Des Moines, and Shoreline, WA.  Major new construction projects include:
